Alright, I will cut to the point.... I bought a D44 today and the WMS to WMS is 63". I wanted to know what you SFA Z-71 or other fullsize GM guys' WMS measurements are. Thanks...

Don't take this as gospel, but,

1/2 ton (6 lug, 44/10 bolt) is 67"
3/4 ton (8 lug, 44/10 bolt) is 69"
1 ton is 69"

(measurements are for front axles)

My ZR2 rear axle was 63" and the front stock was 65". I have about 3.5 " of backspace with a 15x8 and they stick out about 3" on each side.

Yeah I could build a jeep, but have you ever tried to haul furniture in a jeep? You gotta stack everything on top of everything in one of those. Jeeps may be the sh!t for 'crawl'n but there is more than rocks out there. I've seen short based jeeps have some interesting problems going up a steep hill. Besides, everyone and their mother (literally) has a jeep.

Yeah, we could build Jeeps, but with all the axle swaps, motor and tranny swaps, and sawzall work.... Hey, wait, isn't that the same thing we do?
