Has anyone ever made a N/A version of something good, like a pale ale or a stout? If not, why?

The first three are OK, but still very much in the "American Pale Lager" category. I'll have to hunt for Warsteiner NA, I like the FA version...

Surveyboy, :flipoff2: No, she can drink most people under the table, but I'm just looking for something to try. If there was a good pale ale NA, or maybe a nut brown ale style, I'd jump on that like a giant tool business on a Tennesee redneck! :D

You want to Homebrew NA beer? I have never looked into it , but I have the technical papers on the different processes from MBAA (http://www.mbaa.com/) and the ASBC (http://www.asbcnet.org/) if you want to geek out.

No, just wondering if you have come across a production NA that had more body than the standards. I haven't, but wasn't sure if any of the Cali breweries were doing that.

I see my wording in the begining might have been vauge...

Years ago Firestone NA was made by Firestone Winery & Brewey.

The sales weren't able to keep up the production and they stopped in late 80's early 90's.
