I need a measurement from the front of the bed to two locations. I need a measurement to the start of the wheel opening and the middle of the opening. I am looking at the Bruiser box from Canada.
Thanks, Mike

Mike the bed has a lip that goes around the wheel well opening and is tapered so the measurement can change a little depending on where you read the curve.
Over all bed is 85 3/4"
front to wheel well 19 1/4"
Wheel well opening 33 1/2"
Back to wheel well 33"
So front to middle of wheel well is 36"
Good luck if you need anything else let me know.

I like those beds a lot Have you talked to them about price?
I am going to measure my short bed now and so if they will work on that. I think this would look real good on my FJ45 trail rig.
Shiping might be alot from BC but maybe we could get a bulk order together and save some on shipping.Send me you Phone number again and I will keep in touch with you.

Shipping to the west coast is estimated at $160.00. They are 72 inches long. The price is $999.00. They also offer a kit that is the same unit but not welded together for $599 and you can cut it to any length that you like.

Here is a response to my email to them. Perhaps we could order a few of them?
Mike:
Our import size bed can be build two ways. For a standard toyota pickup, shortbed, the box front to axle centerline lenght is 34". We also can build it essentially backwards as for a Ford Ranger, S-10, which gives us a lenght of 38". The overall lenght of the bed is 74".
A few months ago we made a bed for a fellow in Ontario who had a rather rare (I think) Toyota Gilbratar (Model # I don't know) but anyway we made it the 38" setup and he send us some mounting specs and we send him a bed which he finished and installed himself. The only option he took was the bumper.
I attach a few pictures of his rig including one of how the original truck looked. He installed the bumper under the rear of the bed and put the backup lites right in the bumper which looks kind of nice. My only comment is that the rear fender openings look a little small for his 35" tires. We could probably do something about that.
One other excellent source, maybe you know about is Jonahtan Ward, at tlc4X4.com. He is in California, does restorations and has seen our bed on display at Vega's. He'd probably have some thoughts.
Prices for our beds start at only $599 US for the weld together kit which you can make up either way as described above. Assembled depends on what we have to do to make it fit, but they start at $999 which is a very good deal for what you're getting.

Mikec, any chance you can share the pictures they attached? I'm interested in seeing them! My guess is that it was an ex-mine 75 series...

I have not been able to figure out how to post pictures on this board! The other version was very easy. I will spend a little time looking into it.
