: Lance , what about UNIMOG Tech?
Hypoid Drive 12-29-2001, 08:34 AM What about a unimog board then we would have better access to unimog owners , those that modify them , and plenty of axle tech etc. . What do you think . I believe there are at least as many unimog owners as what are on the dodge page:smokin: :smokin:
Just a thought.........Its my dream truck!:D :D :D :D :D
Lance 12-29-2001, 08:45 AM I really don't have a problem with it, as long as the demand is there.... I think it would have to be a "Mercedes Forum" to include Glendenwagen (sp), etc. Don't you think?
what about a general auto dept in the misc catagory. That way if anyone has a question about their DD they can ask their. Besides we all have projects beside our rigs.
Old Scout 12-29-2001, 09:40 AM There are 20x more Rover guys than MBZ guys here! I have never seen a post about a G wagen here and most of the MOG talk is about how to steal there axles. :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Allriiiiiight already, Land Rover forum it is! :flipoff2:
Lance 12-29-2001, 09:46 AM as far as a BENZ forum goes, I need to see more interest in one. I don't think it's there.

Would have been reasonable. For the same reason, shouldn't it be a "Rover Forum", instead of a "Land Rover Forum", to include the Ranges?
I don't have no MBs, nor Rovers, so it doesn't really matter to me, just my .02...

A Rangie is a Land Rover! A Range Rover is no different than a Disco, D-90/110 or a Freelander.:rasta:
Patrik 12-29-2001, 10:48 AM My appologies then, I'm just a newbie you see...
BillaVista 12-29-2001, 11:19 AM What about a "great from the factory floor" forum, so we could wrap up Land Rovers, G-wagens, Unimogs, and the 2003 Rubicon edition TJ all in one neat little forum :flipoff2:
Interest in a Galendawagen forum? I'll show up every day to drool and whine about never being able to afford one :D :D

I saw one ther other day. It was rusty in the rear quarters.
aaronlosey 12-29-2001, 11:47 AM why not a european forum, including mogs, rovers, pinzaugers, and whatever else is out there. rover, pinz, and mogs all have portal axles, and are built simalarly.

I think that's a pretty good idea.
Joe_W 12-30-2001, 09:41 AM Along these same lines I was going to ask for a misc. (use abbreviations..then no one knows your spelling sucks!!) Japanese crap :) forum. I know theres a bunch of Isuzu and Mitsu guys who frequent the board but are stuck with the general 4x and chit-chat sections.
But now I just look like I'm jumping on the bandwagon :( :flipoff2:
Cowtowner 12-30-2001, 03:42 PM I'm hip for a unimog forum :smokin:
offroadr35 02-01-2002, 07:48 PM I'd definitely be interested in a Unimog forum. If there wouldn't be enough interest there, why not make one for ex-military trucks? That would include some stuff that the average POR guy may have on his rig like 2.5 ton axles as well as Mog, Pinz, etc.
