Just got the seat for Kelly's new buggy. It's a PRP seat, and MAN is it nice! Very good quality, and it fits her 120lb frame like a glove. I even fit in it reasonably well. They custom built the seat to match her new rig, it sure looks nice in person!

Is it a fabric suspension seat like the mastercraft or is it just a spring seat?

Possibly we can put it in Race car #2 and try it out.

It's the competition high back, and it retails for $225. :cool2:

I agree - I just got a pair of the regular Premier High backs, extra tall. They are super comfy, my roommate even thinks they are nicer than his Beards. I really liked all their color options. I went with a two-wone grey for the cloth, and bright yellow for the vinyl back and sides.

sweet seats.. Im thinking of getting some decent seats.. and these will fit the bill without being as much $$ as mastercraft or others.. Sweet..

Tell her if she quits fitting in the seat, she quits getting to drive the buggy. Actually that's probably not a good idea:eek:

Some modelled pics would be nice................. you know, help guage the size of the seat better and whatnot;)

I've been stalking PRP seats for 4 months now... I'd be pimpin' them too... if I had the $$$. Still, they're low cost compared to their quality.

I bought a pair of their seats about 2 years ago. I don't even remember how I found out about them, they didn't advertise anywhere back then, still don't to my knowledge. I know this....the lady I dealt with when I called could not have been nicer or more helpful. Their frames are, or were, the same size tubing as the much higher priced makes, and Beards cover is an exact replacement, or so I was told by PRP. I'm 5-11, 185 lbs and find mine to be very comfortable. I mounted them on power tilt and slide mounts.

I recieved mine a week ago (from RockBuggySupply). I went with the Competion Pro's in all black vinyl with yellow piping. Uh, they work pretty good for Project Gotham in the living room :)

I've had my current pair of PRPs for two years now, and had my previous pair for a year before that. I love them. I ordered mine with low sides before they started making them that way, had to explain to them what I wanted. Someone mentioned the comparison to beards and yes, their regular racing seat is an exact knockoff of a Beard. My cousin used to fabricate the seat frames for them at his shop in Hemet, and he had a sponsorship from them for seats in his baja racer. The family that ran the business got into some trouble for a while there and eventually sold out. Ever since then the new owners have totally turned it around. I think their big breakthrough was their deal with Kartek, who sells a shitload of them to the sand and racing crowd. I didn't get the pimp-daddy colors, tried to keep them fugly to match the rest of my rig:

Yea, I got a set from them over a year ago for my rig, and over 1. years ago for my bros rig. They are SUPER BAD ASS. I have been saying it all along for the past year and just got ignored. Hell I even had people telling me that these seats were not as good as the Beards and the Rattlecrafts. I am here to say. TOLD YOU SO!!!! These seats are a great seat, and I would even throw them in my Yukon. Oh well, at least you guys are finally hearing about them now.

Very nice,
Where are they based out of?
I seem to recall a seat company in Reno, that I thought had a name like that.

Another quality pair of seats from PRP. I just got mine. I must say the whole experience was good. I asked them questions and every answer was given with enthusiasm and passion for their product. They said it would take two weeks and they stuck to it. Very professional. Here are my seats, not as fancy as a comp seat, but they fit my wheeling/daily driving life. They are the Roadster with a lowback.
