Are detroit lockers LOCKED all the time? Or only when one wheel breaks traction, than the other wheel picks up? I would like to run detroit's in my rockwells. But not sure if that would be street worthy. Because the truck will be street driven.

A detriot is not locked all the time. It locks and unlocks depending on traction. I have one in my Jeep and it's fine on the road, you won't really notice it unless you gas it around a tight corner, then your inner tire will chrip and hop around the corner. It will sometimes lock up in the rain too. But if your rig sees ice and snow on the road, watch out b/c it sucks. Both tires will be spinning the whole time, pretty sketchy.
