I just went to 2 yards in Fresno and found some pretty cool stuff.Front axles still in jeep cherokees,wagoneers,blazers,3/4 ton burbans and ifs toy and G.M. stuff.No there wasn't any d-60 eight lug fronts with lockers and gears and free 38 inch boggers...but if you had a need for a d-30 front(I sure hope not!!) then it would be worth your time.Also lots,LOTS of pretty cool bucket seat sets(honda,toyota,nissan,v.w.,even bmw and volvo---leather)Pick-n-Pull on jensen@99 and Pick-a-Part farther down Golden State.The Pick-a-Part had a sign that said"50% off new years day"...too bad for me,I have to work.Whatever...

My brother and I just picked up a complete D44 Front from a wagoneer for $67 in Fresno. We also picked up a pair of Flat top knuckles for a D44 and attached the spindle/calipermount to each and told the lady at the cash counter that they were just spindles- $15/ea!
Just some of the deals to be found. and that was NOT on 1/2 price day.
If we went on half price day, then we could pick up a complete D44 Front from Hub to Hub for less than $35
