Can someone give the bench wiring instructions for a gas gauge and a tank sending unit out of a vehicle. The gauge just has a copper 3 unit connection and I'm not sure where the 12 volt, ground, sending unit wire attaches to do a proper test. You all know what a bitch it is to get this all installed to find out one or the other is bad. Thanks. Steve

for the sending unit use an ohmeter and move the float up and down, for the guage connect 12v to power and ground lead to sending unit. Should haver full sweep on the dial.
