Ok here is what i have. 69 blazer with a 350 465 203 205. I currently have a manual clucth and i ripped the ball stud out of the bellhousing on the con during the clean up last year. I want to swap in a hydro unit but dont want to swap out the bellhousing for a hydro one. What master cylinder and slave cylinder should i buy, and will the slave cylinder have enough through to disingage my manual throughout bearing fork? Anyone who has done this i would greatly appreciate your advise.

After messing around with different setups in my hybrid truck for years I would sugest going with Willwood stuff. I also have a manual linkage style bell housing and didn't want to find/change to a newer style.
The Willwood stuff is good quality, easely rebuildable and much cheeper than the factory stuff.
Now I am using a Willwood Pull-Type slave cylinder with a Toyota Master Cylinder. It just barly has enough throw when mounted thru the origional spot on the clutch fork. If the Toy mastercylinder ever goes out on me I will replace it with a Willwood one that has a bit more volume.
The Willwood Pull-Type slave cylinder is great because you can make a simple bracket to hold it off of the t-case adaptor instead of fighting clearance ishues when neer the engine.
I've done quite a few using the stock hydro parts from an early eighties cj 5 or 7. Our jeeps are running chevy engines and trannys with the stock alum and cast iron bellhousing. I've fabbed a bracket the will bolt to the lower two bellhousing bolts and have a flat side by the oil filter to bolt the slave to. I have run mine since 91 without any problems.

Rccurrier44, Im familiar with the willwood name but not that familiar with their product. Do they only have one style of pull type slave cylinder or should i look for a specific one? And did you find that the through was acceptable or would you have done something different? Thanks for you advise.

Ya might want to look at what http://www/mcleodind.com/pdf.asp has to offer . I am thinking about using a index mounted hydraulic slave/T.O.B. combo for my truck .

I am using novak's hydro clutch system (http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/clutch_components.htm) with the wilwood master cyl. (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=WIL%2D260%2D1304)

I think they only have one pull type slave cylinder. Here is a link to a drawling of what I used.
http://www.stockcarproducts.com/clutch9a.htm
The throw in my system is aceptable but I am not getting everything out of the slave cylinder because my master cylinder is undersized. I would go with the matched master that is shown in the above link If I did it again.
Also another note, pull the slave cylinder appart and red locktight the piston to the piston rod before you use it. For some reason they don't do this at the factory and these things are natorious for having the piston unscrew from the rod if you don't. Mine took 2 months before it came appart on me and started leaking. They use o-rings instead of gaskets to they are cake to disassemble and work on.

Novak's system is susposed to be very good. But I don't know if you need to pull the tranny off to put in their clutch fork. It woulden't be the end of the world but it sounded like you didn't want to do that.

Ya i am trying to avoid pulling everything out, and i would think that you would have to in order to get the fork changed. Thanks again for the help.
