I think they would be a bitch to mount tires on.

Wouldn't be to much of a pain, just takes way to much time. Hey, at least they aren't like 32 bolt or anything like that!:D

Well I have never seen a beadlock with lock rings on both sides of the wheel.

the bart rings suck. they are really thin and will deform.

i have seen tires loose a bead with that exact type of lock (because of the deformed ring) and also tires that would not hold the bead tight enough to hold air once the ring took a good hit. i would not use them. just my op.

look at the second pic... I think he's talking about the double bead lock

btw could you make those pics a little bigger... I couldn't see them clear enough from 20 feet away :flipoff2:

oh shit.. i didnt even notice that. I take back my previous comment.

Sure they are going to be a bit tougher to mount. but nothig really hard. basically you are going to mount the front 1/2 like you would normal. then flip the tire/rim combo over. unmount, the rear, then mount the lock ring. 10 seconds to dismount the rear if you have a tire machine large enough for your tire. Longer if you are spooning it.

not a big deal really. and not worth the effort for those flimsy bart rings.

Not gonna work unless you run no brakes. They would eat up the space were the rotor and caliper go

wouldnt it be quicker and easier to run a thicker bead round the saftey bead on the back side of the rim?

Because the bart rings are so thin they tend to bow between the bolts when mounted, they also tend to snap bolts since they are under so much pressure due to being too few and they are undersized at 5/16".

Get rid of the nutserts so you can step up to 3/8" bolts and double the number of em.

As for the double locks, were you actually losing inner beads?

The only reason I went with the barts was the price (got em used and modified them) spending the cash for double locked barts takes away the cost attractiveness, kinda like dumping 300m shafts and a spool in a rockwell.:flipoff2:

16 bolt beadlocks tend to snap bolts. which in turn makes u loose the air out of the tires real quick like.
