I AM WONDERING IF A SHOT MANIFOLD GASKET WOULD MAKE MY RIG HESTATE AFTER IT GETS WARMED UP. I THOUGHT INITIALLY IN 0ºF WEATHER IT WAS COLD INJECTORS BUT AGAIN I'M A ROOKIE AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DEAL IS.
I GUESS I JUST NEED TO HAVE MORE COMMUNICATION ABOUT MY ROVER ISSUES.

Why are you yelling? All caps is considered yelling and rude.
Check for vaccum leaks around the gasket that seals the intake to the heads.

Sorry about the yelling I didn't realize I was being rude.
Thanks for the info on the vacuum leaks. I'll check it out.
Also....Any ideas on where to get a heater core cheap for a 91rc.
I have crap(leaves-grass) in my heating system and wonder if there is an easy way to get it out rather than pulling the whole dash apart????
thanks

Replace the coolant temp sensor and call us in the morning.
I had a dud ignition amplifier on my 90 (old, non-NAS, distributor and carbies) that produced a miss under hard acceleration.

didn't think about the temp sensor(duh). I'll try that. Any ideas about the clogged heater ducts?

While CT has a point that ignition amplifiers can cause similar symptoms, when someone states that the problem is temperature dependent, I usually suggest replacing the coolant AND fuel temp sensors, but, it is far more common for the coolant sensor to go-probably due to its direct contact with the media.
