Weldenman, anybody.....
Need someplace to begin looking or exact info for this question:
92 350 TPI chevy going into an 86 cj7 in california.
does any exhaust/headers manufacturer have a CARB-legal
header that can be installed in doing this engine swap?
I'm going to need a "block-hugger" type header with
air-ports for the smog pump.
I like the sanderson headers tightfit models, but I'm not
sure if they carry a CARB # for california swaps.
(I've been looking around on Ebay tonite (very bored at work)
so it would be nice to know about the CARB# info incase
I find something with a end-of-auction date being in the next
few days...
next question:
If, I find a "block-hugger" type header that carries a CARB # for
calif, but is "spec'd" for say, a corvette, (My motor came from a
Firechicken" would that get me in trouble with the ref?
should I even mention my motor came from a Firebird, or
should I just say it came from a Vette??
--Inquiring minds with waaaay too much time on my hands
wants to know....
