hello. i was wondering if anyone has ever done or heard of using tracker/sidekick coil springs front and rear on a samurai. i don't know much about this sort of stuff but it seems like a good concept, any ideas. or is there a better way to do this. thanks

The front TracKick springs are too stiff - something like 400 lb/in (385 is exact number?) in rate.

There rears could be used though - they are around 180 lb/in.

VW Jetta/golf springs have been used in the past. I think the Spidertrax "show trucks" use the cheap coils out of the Summit Racing catalog.

What might be a good combo would be rear TracKick springs font and rear - although you might want a little stiffer for the front.

We are using rear Sidekick coils on one of our Samurais. The ride is like butter.

I originally picked up some 4door springs, but the ride height was taller than I wanted for that vehicle. We only wanted about 6" of lift on it and the 2door rear springs have worked great.
