Lance one more and I'll leave you alone I was thinking that there are a lot of guys on the POR that make cetain items that they would like to sell ( kind of like a side job ) but cant afford a web site to do it . What if these people were allowed on a specific site such as POR to just list there items with a maximum of say ten listings and maybe 2 pictures of there items for like 100.00 a year or something with a disclaimer that POR would not be held accountable or liable for any damages etc inncurred by these products some thing to get yourself out of hot water. You would make more cash as well and help promote the little guy too! Here is just a few that I can think of:
Adam Ant : , Steering arms , etc
Bigfeck : , beadlocks , etc.
DRM : , steering arms , etc.
myself : , axle housings components , etc.
bud bilt : t case , frames , etc.
lake rat : Steering , suspension , etc.
lange : , toyota stuff
daniel : , military tires , 2 1/2 ton axles etc.
big rich
patooyee
billavista
roger brown : , toyota drivetrain ,etc
camo
kerry1.6-toyota : , suzuki , toyota driveline adapters etc.
airzuki : , toyota driveline , steering , adapters etc.
inchworm : , toyota crawlers , toyota drivetrain etc.

Anyone else interested or build things that would be interested in such a site on por these are just a few off of the top of my head that do side jobs for sale , and they do more I just cant think of everything and everyone , so you could have the opportunity for making extra $$$$ and lance could as well!

If the site was related to POR, I'm sure that eventually he would run into the problem of making sure that all the vendors were legit. I obviously can't speak for Lance, but it's something I wouldn't want to do unless I planned on getting into the parts/sales business anyway. Just a thought.

i am not a vendor but am a new customer in the aspect of wheeling would most definetly buy from someone off the board. if the vendor made you a shitty product or his promises where not up to par then word would spread and nuff said. for me its hard to find products that are custom to a 70 fj40 with dana 44 not like these parts are lined up at napa. just my .02:D

What about just a forum for Dealers only? Post pics and announcements of new products, inform people of sales, etc.? That way, you don't have to look at it unless you want to, but it'd also clear some posts off the other forum, ya know Where Can I Get This? Blah... blah... blah...

Sounds like a good idea. I get a lot of my ideas and product web sites from this site. I know that items here are tested and if they aren't up to the standards you will hear about it. Items on this site should have the POR tested seal of approval.

I like this idea. Makes sense to me.

I would have to agree with Iron Pig in that I would buy from a POR member first. In fact fatkid is doing some bumper designs for me now, and I only wish I new about him before I bought my cage kit.

As far as quality and customer service goes; if you advertise here and your $hit's not up to snuff, you aint gonna' last long on the PBB. The weak will get weeded out pretty fast. :D

i would like this, this way if i want to find a part or person to fab some thing up then i could go to this part of the pbb. i have posted several times myself where to find this or that.
