I saw this on the TDR. Is this thing for real? Has anyone used it?

I'm quite sure it' s real site that will cost you more than just using the lemon law to your benefit. (Even the lemon law will cost you something.) Why waste time with lawyers, typical lemon laws are written so that you don't need them.

while not exactly for a PS, I am currently trying to do a lemon law on another POS.. A focus. I have a lawyer for it, and given the chance, would not be using a lawyer again. (we don't pay anything, the manufacturer is required to pay all legal fees)

it's been almost 4 months and it's gone NOWHERE. Just finally filed with the court due to Ford not responding to anything from our attourny. Meanwhile the miles are being packed on..

however, i heard been told, if your forced to sue over the vehicle and you win in court, you get double the settlement.

Looks like Ford is getting some negative publicity these days.

You can also loose value on the car by racking up the miles. You end up paying for "devaluing" it.

this I know.. Unfortunatly it's the only suitable DD with a infant, and we don't have the $$ to go out and get another car payment.... Another reason why it sucks going this way. I've heard that using the dispute settlement board, it's usually done in a couple months vs this way. but you don't have a say in the outcome. (they can sometimes buyback your vehicle, but you hae to use the $$ to buy another ford)

yea really. I'm normally a die-hard Ford guy, but after dealing with the dealerships around here, I'm not giving Ford another cent of my $$. If I get another Ford it's gunna be a '94 or older.

Going to an import for a DD now.. screw ford..

I guess I don't fully understand the Lemon Law. I thought that they were just required to give you a different vehicle of the same model. Hence a particular vehicle may be a lemon but generally speaking a complete model line isn't considered a lemon.

Someone educate me please?

BTW, I don't currently own a "Lemon" per say, just curious. My 7.3 PSD runs fine.

I agree, but I will still buy Ford no matter what, but never anything besides a SD, because Ford is cathering in design to Soccer Moms.

heh.. we are in the process of suing ford right now..

My dads 03' F-150 lost a rear tire last fall, running empty. The axle broke off at the flange, and the rotor was still bolted to the rim. It's the bigger 9.75" rearend too.. Ford claimed "we must of hit something and caused it to break"

Different states have different laws. I'm sure they're available online.
