: Filter Frustrations??

OK HERE IS THE SET UP, I HAVE A 73 EB WITH A 351 RUNNING ABOUT 45Ohp AND I AM PUTTING A SERPINTENE SET UP ON IT FOR THE EASE AND TO GET THE A/C PUMP ON IT FOR AIR. THE QUESTION IS RIGHT NOW IT HAS A DOUBLE FILTER MOUNTED ON THE RADIATOR SUPORT AND IT IS IN THE WAY OF THE BELT AND COMPRESSOR SET UP. BOTH FILTERS ARE AMSOIL AND ARE VERY GOOD QUALITY BUT THEY WILL NO LONGER FIT. I CAN FIT A SINGLE MOUNT ON THE RADIATOR SUPORT OR JUST GO BACK TO A BLOCK MOUNTED FILTER. WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF DOING EATHER ONE OF THESE SET UPS. ALSO IT HAS A COOLING BLOCK MOUNTED TO WERE THE STOCK OIL FILTER GOES, WHAT ARE THESE FOR AND WHY? THANKS FOR THE INFO!

SORRY THE FILTERS ARE REMOTE OIL FILTERS. THAT MIGHT HELP

plumb em back on the framerail somewhere. i have to because the 302 in the bll will not allow a filter in the stock location, it hits the frame rail. i relocated mine back by the tranny on the drivers side framerail and i'm using the old fuel pump gaurd for protection.
