I don't know if I'm just looking in the wrong places or what, but I did a search(SBC*,350*,swap,chevy,daily) but to no avail. Need info on doing a SBC 350 swap. Or directions to the correct posts. My cousins 345 is officially DOA. He doesn't want to invest his retirement on building it and has a fresh 350/300 horse sitting in his garage. Should I just look for the AA bellhousing? What all is involved in this swap. I'm still running a trusty 392 in my 79'. Thanks for the help in advance. FLAME ON!!!

What transmission does he have?
The AA adapters are $500+
If I were doing the swap, I'd want a big-block, too. :)
But aside from that, I'd go 350/TH350/NP205 (TH400 if you happen to have the right parts.. good luck).
Fab some motor mounts and a new trans x-member and have the driveshafts adjusted accordingly.
Or.. rebuild the 345. $1500-$2000 can do a nice job..

It JUST-SO-HAPPENS ;) that I HAVE a 350/350/205 set-up waiting to be yanked for a cool $1200.00 (Negotiable);)
And the small block is rebuilt with less than 500miles on it. less a carb

Hope it will handle what?
Your little mouse motor is not going to break a 727 when they have no problem with a 426 Hemi!
