Alright I bought four SSR's two have about 50% to 75% tread and the other two are bald. I am going to buy two more next week and was trying to decide.
Spend the $380 for two SSR's or Spend $280 for two TSL radials?
I am open to other suggestions such as TSL/SX or Anything else. I figure as long as I keep them 33x12.5x15 there wont be a problem running them. What are your opinions I will be driving this maybe twice a week and being trailered to the trail oh and I am spooled rear and lockrite front.
Also where would you put the new tires and where the old ones?
Thanks
Bucky

TSL Radials run on the narrow side so you may want to look at them and consider ordering a wider size than you would normally think. SX's are bias and heavy....I had a set of 36's and I ended up selling them because for street driving they would beat the hell out of me and flat spot really easily. The SSR's have been known to "chunk" or rip lugs out. One guy in the club has 37" SSR's and they chunk up pretty bad although I have seen the sidwalls that everyone says are weak take more than their share of abuse. .

the same size tsl radial won't be as wide as your other tires and look stupid, so either get one thats wider or something else. sx's are the best unless your rig see's a lot of pavement.

I would buy some tsl bias, if you can only afford 2 now run the 2 SSR's until you can afford two more TSL's.

Get TSL's and run the new tires on the back.

Better ask around about actual sizes. The size stamped on the sidewall is rarely correct, neither is the chart on Interco's site.

fawk it I am going with the tsl radials worst case senerio I blow up the 231 t-case oh well that is what spares are for.
I have had both. Offroad I liked the Tsl radials better. On road, especially in the winter SSR's are better. This is not to say that the SSR's suck offroad they still do a lot of things OK but who wants a OK tire Offroad?
What about MTR's? I think these or the IROKS will be my next tire.:D
