I am putting the rubicon express 4.5 inch lift on my 95 YJ and I am having a bitch of a time getting the dam brake lines dissconnected. There was no issue of being able to get them off the frame rail but getting the bracket disconnected from the brake line. The main one that stays there. How the fuck do I get that off. And what size wrench should I use for it?

First time playing with brake eh?

The lines are 3/8. Take a trip down to your local tool store and learn about flare wrenches. While there, pick up a torch - propane will do just fine.

Heat the bugger, use the correct wrench (and one to keep the other side of the fitting from turning) and you'll be suprised how easy it is to remove.

If I remember right, there is a nut on that brake line that holds it to the "L" bracket. Take the nut off the main line comes right out. Last one I did, they were all real tight. get a GOOD set of flare wrenches. there IS a difference! craftsman, SNAP-ON, MAC... go with those. I've tried the cheapies and they don't work as good.
