thanks guys, once i get the links figured out i'll post more. it is up on another site, but it is password protected. the spings i used were 52" chevy rear springs (6" lift in my front, 4" lift in my rear...but both intended for the rear of a chevy). it has a 500 cadillac engine that is soon to be warmed up with a cam, intake, headers, shaft rockers, etc. the th 400 has a mannual valve body, worked over, and a 2400 stall. currently it has the stock divorced np 200 but i'm looking to put a 4 spd and np 205 behind the th 400 (i've asked about this on the bb earlier). the rockwells are detroited front and rear. the power assist steering turn the tires easily standing still. thanks for all the write ups and posts, with out them the beast would completely different.
i haven't driven it much at all. i just got it finished (read as drivable) and as you can see it doesn't fit in the garage. i've had to slow down with the cold weather. there is plenty of work to do but i should have it in some mud someday.
i probably will be albe to drive it on the road someday. everything is pretty relaxed out here and as long as i don't run over cars i'll be ok. i also have a set of 44 16.5 ground hawgs, but they look a little too small on it.

so those are factory chevy rear springs on all corners or are they 4 or six inch lift springs?

damn.......I was planning on using a j-20 frame, m-715 body, 2.5 ton rockwells, and a set of 44's..........but damn.

kaiserm715

the springs are 6" lift in the front and 4" in the rear with a short block. maybe i'll save my pennies and put some king shocks on it like the big boys!!!!
