i have done several searches and lots of reading.
i am making an A shaped(ladder?) bar with a shackle (upside down) in the front.
my question is, where should the shackle be, at the front spring pivot? as close to the transfer case as possible? i will have to build a cross member anyhow and room isnt ahuge issue.
its longish (118" wheelbase).
also will be using square tube, what wall thickness/dimensions are best strength to weight ratio?
thanx
