yeah, they are great guys. they do the BEST work, but overcharge you for it. i have never heard of anybody being unhappy with them though. they have a really cool operation, and they all drive bad ass trucks. ive wheeled with them a few times.

There was a D110 TDI on E-bay A few weeks back. The truck was only driven 500 miles away form ECR after a 20K TDI retro fit when It caught fire!
I bet the owner was unhappy!

Oh my Gawd Old Scout!!
Don't EVER EVER EVER post a link to that awful crap again!
I really pitty the image you have to endure as a Disco owner....I had no idea that was the perception, and less idea that thanks to half-wits like that Kyle and Mike D1, it seems to be a well deserved reputation of the inbred upper-class snob wannabe Rover owner.
Eee Gad...that's just awful. I bet that Kyle moron is a proud racist too...all the signs are there.
What is it with these guys??? Ugh!

Old scout you sure it was not the white 4.6 110 on ebay?
All NAS 110s are prone to catching fire, last I heard over a dozen of the 525 had burned due to the oil line leak. There is a registry somewhere.
I have seen a few of the ECR trucks up close, really high end work but you can do a Tdi swap for much less. They are making it way more complicated than it has to be.

PS rover people are weird . . . you just have to accept it. I mean who in their right mind would willing buy a vehicle that with such a horendous reputation for unreliability
PPS I own four. :rasta:
