How would you mount/support a OTT II drivetrain (Sidekick with toy TC) to be very stiff and heavy duty? I already have TrailTough engine mount for my 16v...

I would like but already bolted to my auto Tranny and 16v... I wonder if the toy tc mount would fail even combine with a mount under the Sidekick TC. One of those mount would take all the torque and the other nothing...?

I am running dual toy tcases, with a 1.3 engine still having the stock engine mounts.

Yup, I'm lazy.

My tcase mount was made by budbuilt. If you do want to go that route, I can get accurate numbers for one that duplicates what I did.

Makes for a perfectly flat belly..

i will be using the stock toy mount bolted directly to the belly skid which is 1/4" and gusseted from a new x-member behind the case all the way up to the front lower control arm mounts (sas)

Budbuilt looks well made but uses the same factory bushing that I personnaly don't like (expensive an soft). I built a heavy duty "FROR xmember (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38795&highlight=crossmember) " but I don't think that just supporting the Toyota TC will be enough...

The Sidekick tranny to Transfercase look weak. Maybe a crossmember bolting both with the same bushing has the the FROR would help...

I tried the FROR cross member.

Wouldn't work, it wanted to place the arms above the frame, into the body.

And since I don't have a plasma, or laser cutter available, and couldn't find anybody who had the pattern would cut me a mount like that...

The budbuilt I have uses 2 mounts, not 1. Makes a world of difference I'm told, and so far, I'm happy. It barely moves.

Also consider, I'm still running factory engine mounts - not that I want to, I'm just lazy.
