i was wondering how they stay lubed ....there was some mention of the gear oil actually lubing the hub bearings...

also whats the typical amount of fluid that a HP FF rear would use? i know that it's dependant upon the pinion angle thats why i asked for an average... the stock book says 4L but with the pinion pointed up a bit and to extend the life of the bearings an so forth would one add more fluid??...how much more?

thanks

If the pinion is turned up much at all. I would make a new filler hole in the cover that is above the stock one. A reverse cut needs all the fluid it can get.
