Need ring gear torque specs. Also I don't have the old ring and pinion. I thought D44 run a oil slinger between the bearing and the pinion head, and maybe on the nut side of the pinion too. The install kit didn't come with one. Are they assuming I'm going to run the old one(s), or can I just use shims. I would think that if one was there to begin with. you wouldn't be able to compinsate with just shims. I don't know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm working on it in the kitchen and my girlfriend already wants it done and out of the way.
Thanks

Randy's has the torque specs:

Call Gearman @ RCD for the slinger info- (916) 852-7109
(probably not necessary if its the front I'd guess? I just reused the old ones...)

I've was told to leave out all the slingers, cuz they tend to hurt more than they help. So I figured what the hell and left em out. No problems so far. I was able to compensate with shims just fine.
