Was just looking around E-bay at samurai stuff and saw a few interesting things. I don't look at e-bay often, so I apologize if this is nothing new to others :flipoff2:

I'm assuming it's the little tiny tube you put in the carb to take out the flat spot in the acceleration, but it says you need to have FI and a computer for it to work? And +20HP gain....come awn?!?

I also noticed RRO is auctioning alot of their stuff also. Looked at the coil suspension ad and thought it was interesting to see a pic of Samit's rig with Mike Schaffer's prototype kit on it, taken in front of Mike's shop, and then in the verbage it says it's RRO's kit with the Y-style front links and another pic of NC Zuk's rig. Not really a big deal, but Glenn could at least not use a pic of Mike's original kit in his ad :rolleyes:

the ebay link you gave shows one of those diodes or whatever that trick your engine ecm into thinking it is not fully warmed up and forces the engine to run rich all the time.

these are for sale all over ebay for anything efi. i would not bother at all. i was told it is only a couple bucks worth of parts from radio shack.

i know you will not see no FAWKING 20 HP gain when used on a sammy. :rolleyes:

you would be much better off spending your $$ on some :beer: ....but what do i know, i am just a damn newbie:eek:

I saw that same pic that Glenn's using...Having been to Mike's shop (I have the proto for Mike's new kit) I thought it looked like Mike's ramp...and thought...naahhh...no one could have testicles that large!:eek:

Talked to Mike this afternoon and they're cranking out new kits! I'm no longer exclusive, but happy...'cause Mike's a pretty top-notch guy...

Newbie or not, you taught me something today :D . I had no intention of buying that thing, just was curious as to what it was. Seems like it would shorten the motor's life in the long run to constantly run rich....

Run rich=wash the oil off the cyl walls=:nuke:

yup it will shorten the life of the engine, not to mention the smell, carbon buildup, fouled plugs, pluged EGR, the list is long ...

some people will buy anything:eek: :rolleyes:
