I recently bought an electric fuel pump for my F motor from TPI and mounted it next to the battery just inside the frame. During very slow speed four wheeling, I can occasionally hear the pump draw air. It's also very bad for about 30 seconds after a short stop with the engine off. I live in Yuma, so it's over 100 degrees outside when this happens. I guessing I'm butting up against the effects of vapor lock. Would a solution be to add a dual-output fuel filter just prior to the pump and run the top outlet back into the tank?
