Anyone know what the axle tube size/ thickness is on the H233?

Mine is almost 3" diameter, but maybe they are different year to year.

Mine was about the same as TRed's, So was one out of a 89 pathy that I had. I couldnt tell you abuot the tube thickness though.

Was just thinkin' about runnin' 44 outers on a nissan chunk for a front end, got both layin' here.

Then I'm in the same boat as the rear, expensive gears, expensive lockers, expensive every thing.

I guess just save the time and try to find a damn waggy axle that isn't vacum locked:rolleyes:

True but after you eat the cost of gears your thirds are interchangable like yota axles, not to mention you get a strong axle. You could probably scrounge a yard somewhere and find a 4.9 set of gears, although they are rare.
