We finished up 2001 with a bang. This was by far the best trail we ran yesterday (the others weren't too shabby either). Pics are up from all 3 trails on my site, here's some cool ones from Annihilator.

Coming up the chute.

Attaching the strap just in case my front end came up.

Brian starting the climb.

Brian coming over the top ledge, he slid off the line and was teetering.

Erik approaching the last ledge.

This shot gives you an idea how tall some of this stuff was.

The second waterfall.

The last part of the trail is a nonstop flexfest.

Oh yeah, we had a great time. Stock the Suzuki's really can't handle any rocks. But gear em down to around 90:1, put some armor and 33's on and your in business. The light weight really allows them to cover some ground.

I was there when they opened that trail early last year. It used to be a lot harder. The first chute was basicly a big V like the firehole. It's all filled in now. That rock at the top used to hang up people on 42's. Watched a totally unprepared and drunk Jeep owner pretzel a driveshaft, loose a tire, catch fire and break a windshield there. That and his buddy trying to blow on his carb to put out the fire while someone sprayed him with ABC extinguisher! It is a fun trail, I almost stepped on a rattler near the second obstacle this summer.

There were a lot of rocks stacked in the chute. Maybe we need to organize an unstacking party?

Alittle unstacking may be in order. Great pix. You are killing me with all the wheeling. My junk is mobile and I am back in the game. No more running on 2 cylinders for me.:D

The party is over, I am back at work. Thank god it's only a 3 day work week :)
