has anybody found a replacement dash that they just really like or hated? I'm thinking of buying one from Mana fre and just wanted to get some feedback.

The dash in my 72 fj40 was bought from Man-A-Free
about 15 years ago, it has held up very well.
I dont't know what quality is available now?
Was never garage kept either.:)

It kind of looks empty without a dash pad though, not to mention hitting your head on that would be a bitch! Metal menders custom deal looks cool!

Hey Metalmender,
what kind of coating do you have on your floorboard? Looks like it is textured, is it Rino or something?

I did the inside of the tub in red durabak http://www.nonslipcoating.com/
It had been in about 6 years and has held up very well with just a little bit of fading in the bed where it always gets sun.

Thanks I might look into that. Does it help with noise and heat?
And is it expensive?

My exhaust run very close to the floor and it seemed to help with the noise more then the heat.
I remember I paid $110 for the red and the black was in the $90's somwhere. Also these prices are 6 years old when it first was advertised and not sure of current pricing.
