I chose the waggy's and boomerang shackles for my 92 YJ because you can get a couple extra inches of wheelbase out of them. Plus, they supposedly flex really well. Hopefully I will know by the end of the month :D

Go with the waggys. Put them on my 82 CJ, they ride great and flex even better. Plus you get the extra wheel base out of the deal, and if you are lucky you can score some used ones from the pic'n'pull for cheap! :D

Waggys on a YJ... I'm going SOA on top of a 3" lift (Because I want to run 41's and get rid of this damned body lift)... am I better off buying arched Waggy springs for 3" of lift, or 3" lift blocks?

Your not implying that you would actually use lift blocks on the front are you? If so, forget it, its illegal, dangerous, and generally just a fawked up idea. Nuff said on that one.

Stock waggy springs will give you about a 2" lift on a YJ. Just get a 2" lift set of waggy springs (rancho 44044's) which will give you about 4" on the YJ. Or just get the waggy springs, mount the tires, and cut where they rub.

Oh dear god, no. I may be a n00b, but I'm intelligent enough to know not to put lift blocks on the front.

I think I'll go stock waggy springs (in good shape if I can find 'em so they're not saggy) and 1" lift blocks (back) and leave my front springs the way they are so I don't have to worry about caster changes and whatnot...

And I'm planning on doing quite a bit of cutting... quite a bit... I've given thought to just saying buh-bye to the entire back and moving the rear of the tub to just behind the driver and passenger seats and replacing the rear with a toolbox that is just wide enough to cover the framerails and sturdy enough to hold a spare on top... That way my spare won't interfere with my rear visibility.

I run rear YJ springs on both front and back of my SOA YJ. They are the same size as the front springs, but have an extra leaf in them. They have great flex, and I haven't had any problems with them, but then I run a pretty light rig being that I have the wimpy 4-banger.
