My Current situation is, as some of you may have seen or been reading is 95 tracker 3 Inch Body Lift (tires 235 BFG AT KO (29") and thats about it at this time

My brother who has a 96 Grand Cherokee had put a 3 inch teraflex lift on his ride. The springs he had before were the upcountry suspension (2 inch stock lift). (was thinking I could possibly utilize the springs somehow)

I am looking at purchasing the 3 inch Calmini Articulation Lift Kit.
(850$) Very nice lift. I have the means and the tools to actually Fab my own Kit. Id just like to have some measurements or any kind of direction. I dont want to have to purchase a Kit bascially.

I was mostly thinking of calling up a local Wrecker yard and pulling all the suspension off a Tracker for 100-150 bucks Like the A arms and what not and converting them to a Lift with some welding Cutting and beefing them up. Any pertinent info you can add would help

I want to keep this street legal and do not wish to drop my A Arm and opt for straight axle at this time. That would really take too much time.

Also if you could please let me know of easy ways to boost horsepower, Id greatly appreciate it. Im sick of coming or going tomoab on the freeway trying to keep up with my two older brothers in their 200hp + rigs. I am going with a K&N filtercharger and was looking under my hood and my air flow is horrid the way they placed all the intake. I took off a Anti Backfire little box thing I thought it was a silencer of some sort and plugged up the hole. It was on the Air intake after the filter. When you look under the drivers side fender the intake is there under the plastic cover (found it when cutting fenders out a little) There is a huge silencer Anti backfire thing there as well. Does removing those things improve airflow? The intake is located directly behind the drivers side headlight. I am really thinking about installing and fabbing a Snorkle to come right out of the drivers side fender and up the windshield near the door.

Let me know what you think about all this and give me your input.

Not sure what your locker question is. We carry Tracker lockers in stock though. We're just down the road from you in Heber.

The ZJ coils just might fit. We use ZJ coil spacers on Trackers for our lift kits. The main downside though is spring rate. You're gonna get killed on those springs. The ZJ weighs a few thousand lbs more than you. They'll likely never flex for your vehicle.

You may want to swing by our shop in a month or so. I'm putting a 'long arm' coil system on my new Sidekick. It'll have D44 axles as well. Looking to have it done by Zukfari.

I just traded all my IFS parts off my sidekick for a tranny/t-case~ I think the guy basically wanted just the gears though,I could ask him if he wants to sell the a-arms etc.~~also I might be picking up another wrecked tracker tomorrow :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: I might part it out , let me know if you're interested
