Anybody need a commuter or project ricer? Or do you KNOW anybody who does? I'm trying to sell my 1993 Honda Civic SI hatchback. It's a 5 spd. It's got 182675 on the OD.
The body is not perfect. It needs front fenders & hood replaced because of minor dents... These would be replaced w/ aftermarket on a project car anyway. Or leave them as they are if you don't care. Interior is decent. The seats are in great shape, but the carpet is not pristine. It's got some wear & a few minor stains. Nobody was murdered in it or anything like that.
The car runs good, but needs some motor work. I think there are sensors and/or vacuum lines that should be fixed b/c it lopes at idle. I'm guessing based on some web-searching I've done & what people have told me. I have no idea what's wrong w/ it. It drives fine, and doesn't act like it's going to blow up.
It's been converted to the new style AC refrigerant, but needs a new or repaired compressor I think. Also, for the last 3 years, there's been a wire or something loose in the steering column that makes the horn, cruise & airbag not work. I never fixed it because I'm a cheap SOB, but I put an aux. horn button under the steering wheel so it'd pass inspection.
I am selling it AS IS, obviously. The car runs, but NEEDS SOME WORK.
I just replaced the timing belt and all drive belts last weekend, and had 2 new front tires installed today. This car has been driven. It's not a show car. It has alot of miles, but also alot of life left. This would be a MUCH better DD than your offroad rig, and if you're into tuning... It's a good platform for that too.
I have the title & will sell it for $1800... negotiable. Feel free to come look at it or test drive it. I'm in Clayton (Eastern NC). PM me or email for more details, etc. If you want to buy it... you will have to arrange pick up. I'm not able to ship it or deliver it.
