I recently bought a 95 discovery and all is well except for the fact I can not shift it to 4-lo, I can shift it in to 4-hi diff-lock and 4 wheel drive works awsome, Is it maybe linkage or???

Sounds like the standard old linkage problem. Clean the mud and crud off of it and spray the hell out of it with penetrating oil.

What he said!!

And be comfortable in knowing that the previous owner probably never off-roaded it!!

And just FYI, it's always in 4wd!!!

Thank you for you help, I do realize that it is always in 4wheel, and I can get it to 4weel-diff lock just not any 4lo. I will try what the web link says and if it doesnt work then you can assure that you will hear back from me:)

Hey basher4runner, don't you run 34-950 swampers? I think you are the same guy anyway what did you give for the disco I am in the market just trying to figure out FMV I hope you don't mind me asking. Anyway I was thinking of a 97+ for a daily driver. Tired of the swampers on the toy.I asssume the disco is more of a daily driver than hard core wheeler. What are your plans for it.

Yeah, I run 34-9.5's plan to go 38-12.5 soon. the place I got my rover from wanted 13500 for it, walked out paying 10500 after tax and what not, it had 98000 and fully loaded except for the dual sunroofs. I have been very happy with it so far except that I know parts are going to cost a fortune. I have plans to do a small lift and some mud terrains (isnt that how all projects start:D ) and to make it a daily driver/long trip wheeler. Oh yeah, thanks for the help on the 4-lo, put some man power to it last night and poped it loose:D
