How much life will swapping 4 coil springs from a 2000 Tracker (4 door) into a 1995 Tracker (2 door) give me? I have the oppertunity to buy some and wanted to know if it's worth it. I also have a 2" body lift and a 1" coil spacers lift.

Man, I don't know if that would work or not - they're not the same vehicle. Maybe I can steal the springs off my wife's Grand Vitara, and put 'em on my 2-door Kick, and see if they work...

Yeah, right...

:shaking:

One thing to think about. The 2000 Tracker (or Vitara) is quite a bit heavier than the '95 Track/Kick, so it may have stiffer springs.

actually they work perfect...this is how glen achieves his lift for the RRO rocksteady lift for 99+vehicles. the springs themselves only yeild about 1 inch in lift. the springs are stiffer, but not uncomfortable in any way. the springs arent so stiff that you cant flex or anything...infact, if you swap in 4dr vitara coils and then slap in some 1" coil spacers from RRO you have their lift kit right there. It works good for me. using Grandvitara coils and 1 inch spacers I can fit a 31" tire under there.

I just installed a set of 00 Grand Vitara springs under my 94 4dr Kick and it yeilded a 2" lift measured from the frame to floor. I flipped the strut plate and put 2" longer shocks in the rear. I still need to adjust the camber but everything worked out great otherwise. It turns out the struts and shocks from the GV were identical. Same part number. That is why I had to buy new shocks and flip the strut plates. The rear shocks are from a 00 Ford Econoline E150 rears.

yup, my g/f put thoes springs in her 1991 tracker....not even an hour to install....about 2 inch lift, and the ride wasnt bad at all.

she had a 2 inch body lift as well, and was able to run 31/10.50 tires.....go for it...
