Here is our camp, it wasn't too cold this time (about 5 below). Photo credit for this one is Commando7.

I think we're doing it again this weekend, more pics to come then hopefully.

It was too cramped to take a picture! There was 5 of us in there, and Commando7 was the only one smart enough to bring a cot...

From the direction of the spray I'm saying that it was in 4wd, still a feat for Rover CVs being cranked over and gassed in a truck that big!

For the record: I was driving on private property, lots of vehicle tracks everywhere. It had been raining, the top 1/2 inch of soil was pretty slick and I was trying to make a sharp right hand turn. I wasn't going to make it, so I goosed it a little and swung the back end around. I was in 2wd.

This diagram will help:

EDIT: Yes, my images and expert testimony have been called on in various courts of law from time to time.

Well, I couldn't have proved you right now could I? Besides, at least I was civil and didn't pull a Bonner "YOU ARE WRONG!".

The above image is a result of the sun passing through the tunnels as shown in this shot:

Do a Google for 'Sun Tunnels' to learn more. It's actually pretty interesting.

Hey Michael, if you wouldn't mind (and if it wasnt against your "intellectual property" laws :flipoff2: ) I would love a high-res shot of that second dawn pic, looking right down the tunnel. Great pic, would look killer on my desktop.

Adam,

Give me your screen resolution and I'll size one proportionally to fit your desktop.

Oh, and they're not *MY* intellectual property laws, they're Federal Copyright Laws. Don't get me started. I'm involved in some 'litigation' right now and I've learned even more since way back when.

There is a very old saying in photojournalism. "f/8...and be there".

There's another saying that mirrors it slightly. 'Luck is when preparation meets opportunity'.

I like to look at it both ways.

EDIT: For anyone running 1024x768 you can download that desktop image HERE. (http://www.tawayama.com/logos/screensavers/suntunnel768x1024.jpg)

That is one cool Picture Michael! Was it hard on your truck to push those drains or whatever the hell they are to just the right spot:flipoff2: I've done that with round haybails, but then again the sun generally doesn't shine through them.
