Put one of them friggin huge rubber donuts (38.5x14.5 SXs) on the front of the cruiser the other night...it didn't rub on the springs or frames at full turn either direction :) so thats good. It will be rubbing on parts of the fender during articulation though. :(

I've gotta lift the truck more though:( and that brings in a whole other host of things that might/will need to be modifed.

They should fit in the rear pretty good as soon as I get some TJ sahara flares and hack off a couple more inches of fender towards the rear of the truck. The rear is already moved back a couple inches and will be getting wider soon (58" wide dana 60 soon).

When I get a digital camera and pay my fair share for the board (get a red star) I'll be posting pics of the "re-build up".:) This will be the fourth "build up" since I got the truck in '92!

Don't go up! Zawzall it and extend your bumpstops.

I run flat FJ-40 springs in the front and flat fj-55 springs in the rear.

Flat, low and wide.

I am so stable of road that I KNOW I am going to push it too far soon!

I wonder if I can find a good set of
38.5 tires at the swap meet this year.

Wngrg,
I'm currently running negative arch front blazer springs (2 leaf) at all 4 corners and a 2" body lift. It clears 35s and 36s no problems. However, the 36s would be the max I could fit right now. A thicker spring (more leaves like in a 7 leaf wagoneer spring) would actually lift the vehicle and act as a bump stop extension at the same time so that is what I'll probably be swapping in. Also the length and offset of the pins will work out perfectly for me.
Height increase will affect my traction bar (so will the new rear end :D ), my drivelines (so will the NP205 case:D ), shock mounts, steering etc... so I guess I have a few things to figure out.:p

Wheelinjp,
Lets get this thing done started in late january and finished in mid february.
However, I have got to get sixguns frontend done before I can start any other projects.

Landcrusher,
Last year a friend got a set of 35" ssrs for $700 at the swap meet (brand new from 4 wheel parts). I was planning on getting some 38x12.5s at the upcoming swap meet but this deal came along and I couldn't pass it up:D

Arndog,
If I get my digital camera soon, wheelinjp could probably post some pics of the buildup (since he will probably be helping
:D
