I don't know what tehy are worth but seeing as Specter and other have discontinued them I would hold onto the incase later on you decide you may need them. Do you happen to have the rear glass weather stripping? I need the one for the windows in the rear cargo area.

Yeah I read your other post after I had alread replied. Anyway is the rubber on the rears any good and do you want to sell it? If you think that you have a good way of shipping them without breakage I might be interested in the rear side windows as well, just name your $$.

As you can see, there is more interest in Rubber than there is in glass. I'm sure there are a lot of '55ers out there looking for rubber. Anyone thought about getting a custom run done? A friend of mine that owns a h**pster got together with some other owners (I think it was 25 or so) and they had some custom rubber weatherstripping made up. Wasn't too pricy and the group deal made it possible.

If there's any interest, I can get further details

Please get further details and share them. This is one of the biggest bummers about owning an FJ55 - no window weatherstripping or gaskets available.

all the glass is flat...a good glass shop can cut/order safety glass no prob.

OK Morgan,
I'm gonna dig into the Rubber thing. Yeah, its really frustrating and when you can find it, its a rape. Between several of us, we outta be able to come up with a clean set that a mold can be built from.

Should know something by the War Pigs on the Con event!
