: 80 Backspacing

I'm doing some research about possibly putting a set of FJ/FZJ-80 axles and suspension under my '95 4Runner. I've heard they are 63.5" WMS to WMS (wheel mounting surface). I think you need to run 16" wheels to clear the brakes? What's the most backspacing you can run? Stock IFS 4Runner is 58" WMS to WMS, and I'd like to backspace the wheels enough to get close to a 60" equivalent, if possible.

I'm also trying to figure out how to deal with the 80 having an offset rear diff. Would a CV make up the the difference, or would I need an honest offset output on the transfer? Maybe I could just use a 60" wide Tacoma rear with spacers. I want to keep it all Toyota ;-)

Just some thoughts, thanks for any info!
