Those joints, impress me more and more each time I wheel with em. I just beat the living crap out of emthis weekend at the Hammers. I looked over and watched, onlookers, sheilding their eyes a few times, waiting for the shrappnel to start flying. I even grenaded, a new Warn Premium hub, on the driver side, but the CTMs just kept going and going. Those joints are very tough.
Show some pics, so everyone can see em.

Hey, Long time no speak! :)

Did you end up testing Jesse's u-joints for him? I haven't been on POR much lately and just wondered whatever happened with that????

So whats new?

H8,

what shafts you running??

I like the idea of hubs becoming the weak point, can be a little $$, but a whole lot easier and faster than swap'n out a shaft/u-joint or all three.......

Whats the deal with the CTM joints? Are the overpriced, or reasonable?

how long can you run the joint before you have to replace the brass bushing:usa:

I just broke a hub last week on my Chevy D60 front. HD Spicer u-joint is fine. You guys are talking D44's. What do you think about the D60. With the 1410 series HD spicer joint, weak point will likely already usually be the hub right? So I might as well stick with the spicer joints as long as I am running hubs?

Thanks,

Phil

well that would be pretty hard to say....lots of variables... ex. do run on the street, do you have lock in/out hubs, do you run in mud/water, do you grease them often and untill the old grease is purged out the o ring.......i could go on, i would say ill check mine in ohh 6 months of good use, and go from there....
