So, I just put 60's front and rear in my YJ. I need to know if my stock Master cylinder is big enough for the one ton brakes (ford, disk front, drum rear). If not, what is a good donor?

Did you build the 60's, or write a check?

Great! Thanks. That will help me get this thing done by UROC.

I left em full width, so there was not much building to be done. The ring and pinion and locker installation will be done by a friend. The bracketry for the four link on the rear was a real pain in the arse to build.

The stock master cylinder will work, but I HIGHLY recomend removing the stock porportioning valve and installing an anftermarket adjustable valve (Wilwood makes a good one). Then lock up the binders in confidence. :p

when i swapped to one tons (60 front 14bolt rear) my brakes didn't like them one bit. i swapped in the hydro-boost setup from the same truck i got the front 60 from and did a rear disc swap at the same time. problem resolved. :D
