what are you doing with the celica pitman arm to make it work ??I did the search on it and found no real answers. I read somewhere about welding in a new tappered sleave, where do i get it ?? or do i buy a new one ?? this is probably something that no one has ever done either.

I popped the ball studs out of my pitman arms( i bought two new ones, they are still offered by moog), then I took them to my local machinist and he put a slug in the end of the arm, welded it in, and then drilled a 3/4" hole through it for a heim. I still have them sitting on my shelf since I never actually installed the power steering.

I made a drag link with a tapered end and used the Celica arm.

Did it alot of diffrent ways but the easiest way was to use toyota tierodend and put it onto the suzuki tierod. Or you could takeout the balljoint on the toyota arm and get a hole saw make a blank that will fitt in the hole where the toyota ball joint was, it dont have to be very tight fit, and weld blank back in where balljoint was, now there is a 1/4 hole in the end of the tierod, you could drill it out to 5/8 and try heim joint, not good idea i seen these fail, too small and around here the dirt kills heims. Or take and drill it out to3/8 and use a taper ream to make it taper just like the stock samurai pitman arm, be carefull not to taper it too far or you get to start over. Now you can use stock tierod that your suzuki had.
