How different are they? Is it hard to find parts for the SJ410? I am buying another samurai soon but I found an SJ410 local for 200 bucks. I do beleive it is an 85 if thatmeans anything.

It sucks sell it to me ! The T case can be used to make a 4 to 1 , but pretty much everything else is different . Does it have half doors ? The passenger seat bracket flips forward too . I think an 85 title has less emmisions on it too ,so if they test for that where you are there is another plus . For 200 I dont see how you can go wrong .

It is the 84 that you can make a 4-1 out of, the engines are a 1 litre in the SJ's some even a .8 i belive, i think the body is the same tho, except the hood, it doesnt have the bubble in it.

I've had a few 410s, love 'em. But I guess they are much more rare in the US :(

If had a SJ410 I can make 4:1 gears for a samurai case or for a SJ case? and how do you do this? I used the search feature but there were jsut too many keywords to find the exact answer to that.

I just picked this one up for free today. Its pretty rough, and the previous owner swapped everything out for Samurai stuff, so I didnt get the tcase.

I live in the southern rust belt. :flipoff2: I live on the coast. We can drive on our beaches and most people dont wash their cars after a drive down the beach in the sand. I wake up every morning with a film of humidity and salt on my windows. My Daily driver is extremely clean for these parts with only one small rust spot on the cowl under the drivers side windshield post. When I say a Samurai is rough it is, because I have cut up atleast 4 that were cleaner than this one is. :flipoff2: Now I just wish I had saved a couple of those clean bodies. Here is the rear door jam.

The other side of the rear door isnt quite as bad. Its only rusted through half way down the pillar.
