Hey guys....interested in getting your opinion on something...

I'm considering trading my Mustang 5.0 for this 1973 GMC Jimmy. Its in pretty good shape, 3rd owner, mostly stock, 72k miles, Edelbrock carb, M/T valve covers, trans cooler, new radiator, tune up, etc.....just wondering what you think its worth, and if in fact its worth it. Any help/info/advice you guys can come up with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

advice: Move this to chit chat. A post about a Mustang has little to do with 4x4 tech.

more advice: Give people some remote idea of what you want out of a vehicle. You're asking which one would be best....... and you say nothing about your intended purpose. If you want to make a mild trail vehicle out of it, don't go with the Mustang. If you want to race with it, don't go with the truck....... actually, don't go with the mustang for that either. If you just want a DD, go with whatever one you like best.

Well it all depends on the year of the mustang- but trucks that old are pretty damn cheap. Bought one about 4 years ago that was completely rebuilt for only $3,000, so unless your mustang is in crappy condition, and is a bad year, then I'd say sell it and get some extra cash
