Just got this picture in the mail Thursday. What you're looking at is a Hudson flathead in a 71/40. According to the owner, its been in there for about 15 years and has more factory spec torque at lower RPMS than the 1970 2bbl 350 camaro he pulled out!

Icky carb (anti-holley fan), but clean install, and I bet it works very well...

Just came across this pic of my buddy's 45 he picked up last summer. PO set this up for month-long Baja adventures. Every time I look at this rig, it reminds me of a dog waiting at the door: its just beggin to go out!SBC,SM420,Danas ft and rear, 3 tanks,blablabla. I think the dawg paid $3700!

I'm not sure how "crazy" this is, but how often do you get to see Land Cruisers wheeling the Rubicon when they were brand spanking new, back in the late 1960s and early 1970s?

Sorry for the hijack but here's a sweet example of some old school tech that is still being used over 30 years later. How many of you are using angle iron as rocker protection? I'm sure there are plenty. Cool old school pics!
