:D I was just messing around today trying to figure out where I wanted my rear axle...and the springs I am using make my w/b 107 if I don't move the factory front mount. :D considering my front axle is 4-5" forward as it is.

Way too long but looks cool.

I think I'll be @ 104.5 when I am done but who knows :D

My truck sits right at about 105" wheelbase right now, and to make the 42's fit it looks like it will end up more like 110" or so...

Seems like anything betwen 100" and 110" is good ta' go :cool2:

I think 107" is just right! Thats what my wheel base is!

I would like to be between 100" and 110" but right now I'm at 114". Don't get to bummed if you have to be at 107", its not a bad length for climbing. :)

Mine's 120"... shortbed standard cab Toy... front axle is 16" forward of stock, and the rear's about an inch back. Hope it works OK. :)

okay...I can't leave the rear where it is because I welded in the new rear bumper but maybe I'll shoot the front forward another inch to keep it looooong :D looks like a limo now :D I like it

my fj62 is at 107 which is pretty much stock and it is a climbing bitch. i have not bobed the bed and the wagons have a big overhang. i thought that might be a problem but so far its worked out great. i love the room can fit a couple of hugh coolers and to many kids in just fine. it sits high enough on 38s that the over hang just hits every now and then. but i have had to do some 3/5 point turns to fit a couple of places. mike

When I went from 90 to 100"...It was AMAZING!

I may stretch it a few more inches some day to get a better approach angle....103" to 105" max.

Mine is 107.5 and it really pays off when you are climbing ledges or steep broken hills. Have to do some 3point turns on some of the tighter trails but it works for me.

Stretching mine to 105" was the biggest improvement, of anything I have done.

Why did you do that? It looked better before. Does it perform much better?

The rear section was getting in the way of the new 38" tires so I cut it off. The whole bed is comming off along with the cab. It's going to become more like a buggie.

I really don't care much how it looks, how it performs is far more important!

Gee...Uh Fullsize K5's and 78-79 Broncos are right at 105. All the mods you did it probably would have been easier to drop your Tub on a 78-79 Bronco frame and running gear.

I was thinking the same thing!!My Blazer is 106.5" and I think it is too long.I have thought about dropping a Cj-6 body on the Blazer frame.Just so it would be narrow. But when you don't worry about the body it don't hurt!!I find I ding the drive shaft a lot.Been thinking of shortening it to 100" then bobing the bed.Maybee coiling the rear so I can go real short.Blazin:rasta:

Most of the X-Cab Toy guys are around 116-ish after they make new hangers and move the front axle forward.

hahahha....fawk that...the suspension mods were simple comapared to all the past mods. 5.0 - t-18 - 300 all made mounts... the frame is all tied to the cage. Plus a wrangler frame fits a wrangler body pretty good. so cut cut weld weld and I was done.

coils not done yet. spy pic :D
