: speedo gear and T case swaps

I swaping out my 95 slip yoak np231 for a mid 80's np208.

any idea if my speedo gear is going to fit it?

i just did that exact swap, speedo dropped in no problems. shifter on the other hand...

swapped the 208 from an 82 grand wagoneer into my 94 yj. if i had used the stock 208 linkage, the shifter handle would have been either under my seat (not an option with how my cage sits) or under the gas pedal, again not an option.

it wasn't too hard, just took some creative bending of a new rod welded to some linkage to get it through the original shifter boot and still clear everything

just not as simple of a swap as i had expected, but nuthin a bfh and welder couldnt fix :)
