Here are some pics of my swing out from the other thread. It is a simple design, I am sure there are alot better ones to look at but I had the stuff laying around to make this one.
The hinge is a hub from a drop axle that I cut the wms off of with my plasma. I then put that on a piece of 3/8 plate and bolted it to my bumper. I thought about welding it, but if it didn't work I wanted to be able to take it off. The rest as you can see is 1x2" box tubing. I don't know if I like the latch yet. So far it doesn't rattle or come loose, time will tell.
I will get to test it real good next weekend. We are going back over Sherwood and we have had about 7" of rain this week and more is forecast next week. Last time I went the mud was up to the rockers should be even deeper this time. Bob
