Ok so I have been wondering....everytime I see wheels advertised the maker makes a big deal about their manufacturing process. So what I realised is I have no clue what the difference is between forged, and cast wheels are and what it means to me.
Plus what are the pro's and con's between one piece and two piece wheels??

I'm still running steel rockcrawlers but would like to get some aluminum wheels for my DD soon. So who gets to edumacate me. :D :D

WITH FORED YOU CAN GET A BFH AND HIT THEM AND THEY WILL BEND AND YOU WOULD PROBABLY BE ABLE TO BEND THEM BACK..........
WITH CAST AND A BFH YOU WOULD BREAK OR CRACK THEM RIM.....

cast wheels- made by pouring liquid aluminum in a mold.
They're light and relatively strong. Pressure casting increases strength.

forged wheels- made by bending the aluminum alloy into shape under pressure. There is cold forging and hot forging. Hot forging is done at a higher pressure and with more heat and eliminates porosity. The hot forged wheels won't crack as easily as the cast ones.
