when running the rears up front what is everyone doing about the steel ring in the spring's front bushing? i drilled my front hangers at 3/4" to match the stock front hanger bolt thickness but the rear spring front bushings are 1/2"id. are different bushings available?

I use '83 or earlier rear main leaves, they have the same bushings as the fronts:

'83 on top, '85 on the bottom:

Of course now I won't be able to get any more '83 rears for cheeeep
